2023 Jeep Wrangler Engines & Performance

The performance and Trail Rated capabilities of the 2023 Jeep Wrangler are bound to make for spirited drives. The Wrangler offers five engine options, including the 4xe-exclusive plug-in hybrid engine and a brawny 470 horsepower HEMI® V8. A six-speed manual transmission or eight-speed automatic transmission is available based on the engine. Each Wrangler configuration is capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds.

Four advanced 4x4 systems are available on the Wrangler, which include full- and part-time systems. The Rubicon trim features the Rock-Trac® 4x4 system with a 4:10 rear axle ratio; it’s low-end torque delivery is ideal for rock and low-speed crawling. Standard off-road hardware on the Wrangler includes heavy-duty axles, underbody skid plates, and front tow hooks.

However you choose to adventure, the standard removable doors and top — available in various styles — ensure unique ways you can take in the sunshine and fresh air. For doors-off journeys, the optional Doors-Off Mirror Kit by Mopar® provides side view mirrors for on-road driving. The Wrangler is available in two body styles — the two-door Wrangler and the four-door Wrangler Unlimited.

The Uconnect® infotainment systems provide seamless smartphone connectivity so you can access your favorite music and apps.
